Weekend 13: KRAMPUS!!!
Saturday, November 25th
Sunday, November 26th
I woke up to the first snow of the season!
Aislinn and I went to The Nutcracker which ended up being The Nutcracker mixed with A Christmas Carol. I was looking forward to just The Nutcracker because I've never seen it before, so the mixture was a little disappointing. It was still a great show, but I don't love A Christmas Carol so I found myself annoyed by those parts. I'm glad I went because it was in the National Theatre's main building, so now I've been to all but one of the National Theatre buildings and I have a ticket for a show in the final building during the last week of the semester!
That night, Sadie, Aislinn, and I did work in the study room.
Sunday, November 26th
I went for a run through Prague 6 and 7 and then went to the store to buy my contributions for Friendsgiving that evening.
Friendsgiving was fun. Aislinn made some fire stuffing and I realized you can have stuffing any day of the year, so I might be making that when I get home. We had turkey (rotisserie chicken), stuffing, mac and cheese, carrots, cranberry sauce, rolls, and gingerbread cake.
That night, Sadie, Aislinn, and I went to the Krampus Night Show which is by far my absolute favorite thing I've done this entire semester. It's like a reverse haunted house where you stand on a fence and the Krampuses walk by. They jump at you, sometimes hop the fence, and do assorted Krampus things, such as whip bad children with birch rods. I would love to be a Krampus, but I fear it is too late for me to change career paths.
